Symptom narrative

Children's Physicians was notified by mom of patient on 4/22/2026 that patient had redness around one of her vaccine injection sites. The site was warm to the touch and hard. The redness had started 4/21/2026 but had drastically increased per mom on the morning of 4/22/26. Patient was brought into the office to be assessed by her PCP. Provider agreed with mother's assessment of redness, warm to the touch, tender and some streaking to the area. Physician was worried about possible Cellulitis to the area so Keflex an antibiotic was prescribed to the patient.
