The patient received the Typhoid IM in the left deltoid and Yellow Fever SQ in the right tricep at 10:47AM on 4/22/2026. At 2:15Pm the same day (4/22) the patient returned to the student health clinic reporting sharp "nerve-like" pain in the left shoulder where the Typhoid vaccine had been administered. The patient also reported decrease range of motion in the left arm. At the time of the Typhoid vaccine injection the patient denied severe pain and was observed for 15 minutes after administration with no reported adverse reaction. The patient was advised to rest left arm, take motrin as needed and apply heat pack to site of pain intermittently. Patient also advised to schedule appointment with primary care provider if pain does not improve or worsen over next 24 hours.
