fainted; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of SYNCOPE (fainted) in an 8-decade-old patient of an unknown gender who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. No Medical History information was reported. In June 2021, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. In June 2021, the patient experienced SYNCOPE (fainted) (seriousness criteria hospitalization and medically significant). The patient was hospitalized from sometime in 2021 to sometime in 2021 due to SYNCOPE. At the time of the report, SYNCOPE (fainted) outcome was unknown. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): In 2021, Laboratory test: resulted in nothing being found. The patient's current age was reported as 80 years old. No concomitant medications were reported. The patient had never contracted the Covid virus. It was reported that upon receiving the 3rd booster dose (Moderna vaccine) at work in June of 2021, and after an hour to 1-1/2 hours passed, while both visiting and then sitting around, the patient fainted and found self on a gurney and being transported to the hospital. After spending 7 nights with head-to-toe testing, nothing was found. Since that time, the patient had additional repeats. The patient spoke with the cardiologist and spent 3 days at the hospital. The reporter wanted to know if any additional information on post Covid booster shots had been studied.
