Bell's palsy; This serious case was reported by a physician via sales rep and described the occurrence of bell's palsy in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Pneumococcal vaccine conj 20v (CRM197) (Prevnar 20) for prophylaxis. On 03-MAR-2026, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix (unknown arm) and Prevnar 20. On 05-MAR-2026, 2 days after receiving Shingrix and Prevnar 20, the patient experienced bell's palsy (Verbatim: Bell's palsy) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). The outcome of the bell's palsy was unknown. The reporter considered the bell's palsy to be related to Shingrix. The company considered the bell's palsy to be unrelated to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 05-MAR-2026 The batch number was not provided and a request for this information has been made.; Sender's Comments: A case of Bell's palsy (not meeting BC criteria), 2 days after receiving 1st dose of Shingrix in a male patient. Case lacks further information on medical history, concurrent conditions and laboratory confirmation. Based on the available information a possible causality that the event was caused by the GSK product cannot be ascertained. Consent for further follow-up has not been received.
