On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, 5 years after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), shingles (Verbatim: Shingles on foot) and post herpetic neuralgia (Verbatim: post herpetic neuralgia). The outcome of the vaccination failure was not reported and the outcome of the shingles was resolved and the outcome of the post herpetic neuralgia was not resolved. The patient got the shingles vaccine and five years later, got shingles on foot. No doctor had ever seen it or heard of it. The patient thanks to the vaccine that it did not seem that bad but it left with postherpetic neuralgia caused by damaged nerves. He/ she was told that the burning pain will last for years. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary vaccination schedule and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
