Symptom narrative

The reporter states that a fifteen-month old child received a BOOSTRIX dose in the left thigh by mistake.; The reporter states that a fifteen-month old child received a BOOSTRIX; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse and described the occurrence of product administered at inappropriate site in a 15-month-old female patient who received DTPa (Reduced antigen) (Boostrix) (batch number PF44A) for prophylaxis. On 02-APR-2026, the patient received Boostrix (left thigh) .5 ml. On 02-APR-2026, an unknown time after receiving Boostrix, the patient experienced product administered at inappropriate site (Verbatim: The reporter states that a fifteen-month old child received a BOOSTRIX dose in the left thigh by mistake.) and inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: The reporter states that a fifteen-month old child received a BOOSTRIX). The outcome of the product administered at inappropriate site and inappropriate age at vaccine administration were not applicable.
