Symptom narrative

Within approximately 48 hours of receiving a Moderna COVID-19 booster at Pharmacy on November 11, 2023, I developed significant pain and restricted mobility in my left arm and shoulder. The injection appeared to have been administered lower than the accepted deltoid landmark. Subsequent medical evaluation documented injury consistent with improper injection technique, including tendon and nerve involvement, deltoid atrophy, scar tissue, and persistent tenderness at the injection site. The injury required prolonged treatment including physical therapy, injections, and other interventions over more than one year.
