Symptom narrative

Reaction was full body hives to include swelling of the lips for 5 days straight, not of the airway at all. Treatment was Allegra 180mg once daily, PRN calamine lotion and 50mg Benadryl at night. Once symptoms resolved the following month hives came back once a day sometimes twice a day with swelling of the lips as well. Symptoms are managed by daily dose of Allegra 180mg in the morning when symptoms start. A 25mg Benadryl as needed if hives return in the afternoon. Other preventative treatment course has been tried and failed to include a prednisone pack and a Kenalog shot.
