Inadvertent administration following a temp excursion; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of incorrect storage of drug in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced incorrect storage of drug (Verbatim: Inadvertent administration following a temp excursion). The outcome of the incorrect storage of drug was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 17-APR-2026 Pharmacist was calling reading vaccine Shingrix, the fridge was out of range and was not quarantined and gave it to a patient. Went low to 29F. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
