Site: Bruising at Injection Site-Mild, Site: Pain at Injection Site-Mild, Additional Details: Patient was upset that she had received the Novavax vaccine instead of the Moderna vaccine. Patient specifically requested the vaccine but brand, but Novavax was only in stock when appt was created. There was a miscommunication upon checking in and vaccine was not changed to Moderna prior to giving the vaccine. The pharmacist who provided the vaccine, confirmed with the patient she was receiving a COVID vaccine.
