Symptom narrative

Patient called 4/24/26 with concerns related to symptoms of occasional dizziness and nausea with ambulation, length of time symptoms last varies. Pt also reported that the smaller toes on each foot had a burning sensation the night before, and some occasionally spasming in thumb, hands, and forearms with no precipitating factors. Pt reported that symptoms were overall improved when he called, but he continued to have concerns regarding dizziness and occasional confusion. Pt did verify that he had been staying well hydrated and checks his blood pressure at home since he is on BP medication and that it had been good. Pt was advised to go to the ER or hospital associated urgent care to rule out any possible causes. Follow up call made to patient this morning who reported he had been admitted to the hospital and that the providers thought he may have Guillain-Barre syndrome. Patient reported that they were planning to provide IgG treatment as well as physical therapy. Patient is still currently in the hospital, he went in 4/26/26.
