Symptom narrative

Itching since Covid injections. This is my story. I began to have skin itching on all and any body parts in the Fall of 2022. It started gradually and continued to increase more frequently and in multiple areas as time progressed. I brought it to the attention of my PCP and was told it was just dry skin and to not towel dry to dryness but leave some moisture and apply body lotion. It did not help any. In Early 2023 I brought it to the attention of my dermatologist and she said to use a body cream after showering. No relief. Later in 2023 my Dermatologist prescribed Fluocinonide to apply to the itchy spots but I had itching at many areas of my skin?not just spots. It didn?t do any good either. By 2024 a dermatologist instructed me to take 2 Claritin morning and night. It is something I continued to take for the next two years without any obvious improvement. I was bringing the itch issue to the attention of all my doctors, from PCP to Rheumatologist and Dermatologist. They were all baffled and could not provide any relief. My itching is getting more intense and frequent. In 2025 I contacted an allergist and had tests for my possible allergies. I didn?t have any positive reactions to indicate an aggravate. She prescribed Xolair injections every 30 days. Again, I didn?t think I got any relief from this treatment but I continued into early 2026. By March 2026 my itching is getting so severe that I am constantly causing bruising and scabbing on my arms and legs and the itching on my back is causing a loss of sleep. My dermatologist prescribed 2.5Hydrocodone ointment to cover my whole body. It might have helped the first several times but it doesn?t last and I am skeptical that it is safe for long term use. I just got off prednisone for another disease and I hate adding this on top of that steroid. My allergist is now trying to get me on a Dupixent treatment. All this itching started after the Covid vaccines and boosters. I did not have ANY of these symptoms prior to this event. I have only had the Moderna vaccine.
