On an unknown date, the patient was vaccinated with a dose of Human Papillomavirus 9-valent Vaccine, Recombinant (GARDASIL®9) (lot #, expiration date, strength, anatomical location not provided) administered Intramuscularly, as human papillomavirus (HPV) prevention. On an unknown date, after receiving the vaccine, the patient experienced left side brain damage, could not speak, and could not walk. The reporter stated that it had been a "long road" until now, and the patient had sought medical attention and received unspecified treatment. At the reporting time, the patient had not recovered from the events. The causal relationship between all the events and Human Papillomavirus 9-valent Vaccine, Recombinant (GARDASIL®9) was not provided. The reporter considered the event of left side brain damage (brain injury), could not speak (aphasia), and could not walk (gait inability) to be disabling/incapacitating.
