daughter was given GARDASIL 9 and then had "left side brain damage, can't speak, and can't walk."; daughter was given GARDASIL 9 and then had "left side brain damage, can't speak, and can't walk."; daughter was given GARDASIL 9 and then had "left side brain damage, can't speak, and can't walk."; This spontaneous report was received from a pharmacist and refers to a currently 22 years old female patient. The patient's medical history, concurrent conditions, concomitant therapies, drug reactions or allergies were not reported. On an unknown date, the patient was vaccinated with a dose of Human Papillomavirus 9-valent Vaccine, Recombinant (GARDASIL®9) (lot #, expiration date, strength, anatomical location not provided) administered Intramuscularly, as human papillomavirus (HPV) prevention. On an unknown date, after receiving the vaccine, the patient experienced left side brain damage, could not speak, and could not walk. The reporter stated that it had been a "long road" until now, and the patient had sought medical attention and received unspecified treatment. At the reporting time, the patient had not recovered from the events. The causal relationship between all the events and Human Papillomavirus 9-valent Vaccine, Recombinant (GARDASIL®9) was not provided. The reporter considered the event of left side brain damage (brain injury), could not speak (aphasia), and could not walk (gait inability) to be disabling/incapacitating. Follow-up information has been received from the pharmacist on 23-APR-2026. The event speech disorder was updated to aphasia.
