Suspected vaccination failure; shingles/went through this 3 times; Scars/back was full of scars; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a 69-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine and the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), shingles (Verbatim: shingles/went through this 3 times) and scar (Verbatim: Scars/back was full of scars). The patient was treated with vitamin E nos (Vitamin E). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported and the outcome of the scar was not resolved. Patient went through this 3 times and got the injection twice and still got all three. Mine did not hurt but they itch really badly and after they were gone, back was full of scars. Patient asked how she could remove them. Patient had been using Vitamin E for a while, but the scars were still there. Patient stopped wearing cute summer blouses because of the shingles. The batch number was not provided and unable to contact the reporter.
