child's mother called on 04/29/26 to ask if pain, warmth and redness was an expected after vaccination. Child received Men B vaccine in right deltoid on 04/23/26. Mom states that child had fever the night of and for 72 hours after vaccination. The redness did not begin until today. At the time of vaccination mother denied that child was sick or had fever or injury. Mom states that child has also been coughing and she is concerned that he may be "coming" down with something. No other symptoms reported. Mom states that unless the child "gets worse" she will not be taking him to ER or physicians office.
Unknown a time of vaccination-mom reported that child was not ill but when she called the health department on 04/29/26 she stated that child has cough and had fever the day of and for 72 hours after vaccination. Mother stated that she would not be taking child to ER or to the doctor unless symptoms get worse.
