Pt called pharmacy approximately one hour after vaccine (Shingrix) administration stating her palms and entire body were itching and sweating. Pharmacist advised pt to use her rx for hydroxyzine / OTC diphenhydramine to treat symptoms. Pt did not report any difficulty breathing. Pharmacist encouraged pt to contact EMS / call EMS or go immediately to ER should she develop difficulty breathing, facial swelling or dizziness (pt did not have access to Epipen).
