gave a patient a Shingrix vaccine then realized it was 6 days past the expiration date; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of expired vaccine used in a 50-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (batch number KJ3N3, expiry date 17-APR-2026) for prophylaxis. On 23-APR-2026, the patient received Shingrix. On 23-APR-2026, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced expired vaccine used (Verbatim: gave a patient a Shingrix vaccine then realized it was 6 days past the expiration date).
