tremors/getting progressively worse; has some breathing problems/getting progressively worse; nerve problems/getting progressively worse; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of TREMOR (tremors/getting progressively worse), DYSPNOEA (has some breathing problems/getting progressively worse) and NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDER (nerve problems/getting progressively worse) in an elderly female patient who received mRNA-1273.815 (SPIKEVAX 2023-2024) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Previously administered products included for COVID-19 prophylaxis: Moderna COVID-19 vaccine (Dose 1, Lot/Batch Number: 031B21A, Route of Administration: Intramuscular) on 22-Apr-2021, Moderna COVID-19 vaccine (Dose 2, lot 003C21A) on 27-May-2021, Moderna COVID-19 vaccine (Dose 3 and lot 059821A) on 27-Dec-2021. Past adverse reactions to the above products included No adverse effect with Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. On 29-Oct-2023, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273.815 (SPIKEVAX 2023-2024) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. In 2025, the patient experienced TREMOR (tremors/getting progressively worse), DYSPNOEA (has some breathing problems/getting progressively worse) and NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDER (nerve problems/getting progressively worse). At the time of the report, TREMOR (tremors/getting progressively worse), DYSPNOEA (has some breathing problems/getting progressively worse) and NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDER (nerve problems/getting progressively worse) had not resolved. Vaccines received within the past 4 weeks, medical conditions were reported as none. Concomitant medication was not reported. It was stated that patient had the Moderna vaccines before and was waiting to get the booster. She was looking for Moderna vaccines, but her pharmacy only had Pfizer and then suddenly there was Spikevax and she was unsure if it was a Moderna vaccine. It was stated that she was afraid to get anything but Moderna because she already had health issues as it was and did not want to exacerbate anything. The reporter states she had some breathing problems, nerve problems and tremors that started a year ago and were getting progressively worse. It was stated that it might be due to patient age. No additional details were provided. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms/events. Treatment medication was not reported.
