Symptom narrative

Per mom, patient received vaccines Tuesday, and immediately it started to swell up & get red. Mom reported that it was a big red circle until Wednesday AM. She said it got bigger throughout the day. Wednesday night, she marked it with a pen then Thursday am the circle was about an inch outside of the pen mark. It was hot, red, and large. Symptoms: large erythematous area to LU arm with warmth and hard center (vaccine site) Treatment: Cephalexin suspension reconstituted 250mg/5mL, 6mL, orally BID for 10 days; Hydrocortisone cream 1% 1 application externally BID 7 days.
