syncope - occurred within 5 minutes of vaccines, pt was standing and fell forward, she lost consciousness, she did hit her head on a desk while falling. She 'came to', but was out of it for about 5 minutes, was not aware where she was or what had happened. She had not eaten lunch that day & is already scared of shots and was panicking. Treatment - we had her sit for 15-30 minutes, eat a granola bar and banana, drink a bottle of water. First BP 106/79 ,HR 74. Second BP 112/69, HR 65. Prior to leaving, pt had rested and eaten and was feeling much better.
