Injection site swelling

Symptom narrative

Patient began to experience swelling at the injection site the following day. Mother called the office 2 days later explaining that swelling is continuing to spread. Patient came into the office 3 days post-injection and swelling had spread to majority of the upper arm and bicep. Medical director recommended ice, benadryl, and ibuprofen for swelling.
