Vaccines given at 11:46 a.m. and Mother called RN into room at 11:50 a.m. due to developing rash. Patient had rash/hives after administering vaccines. PCP alerted and evaluated patient at 11:51 a.m. Gave oral Benadryl to patient at 11:54 a.m. and PCP re-evaluated in a half hour. Rash was improving within a half hour of Benadryl dosage. No signs or symptoms of anaphylaxis. PCP directed parents to have oral Benadryl at home if needed and gave directions/dosage.
