Eye swelling

Symptom narrative

Noticed swelling around the eyes when she woke up on day 4 post vaccinations, denies any sore throat or difficulty with swallowing, no SOB or breathing difficulties, no history of anaphylaxis, not allergic to anything that she is aware of, has tolerated all of her previous vaccinations, no facial pain, swelling does not hurt. Discussed possible delayed reaction verses immune response. Recommended claritin. Discussed what anaphylaxis is and s/s to watch for, and how if this develops it is a medical emergency. Vitals are stable and no signs of anaphylaxis or severe reaction at this time.
