Sleepiness/sleepy; A little bit of soreness in the arm; Fatigue; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of SOMNOLENCE (Sleepiness/sleepy), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (A little bit of soreness in the arm) and FATIGUE (Fatigue) in an 83-year-old female patient who received SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included Blood pressure high (Taking medications), High cholesterol, Abnormal vision (Taking shots in her eyes) and Arthritis. On an unknown date, the patient received dose of SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced SOMNOLENCE (Sleepiness/sleepy), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (A little bit of soreness in the arm) and FATIGUE (Fatigue). At the time of the report, SOMNOLENCE (Sleepiness/sleepy), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (A little bit of soreness in the arm) and FATIGUE (Fatigue) had resolved. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On an unknown date, Blood cholesterol: High. On an unknown date, Blood pressure measurement: High. The patient was taking the concomitant medications for high blood pressure and vison problems. The patient had only received Moderna COVID-19 vaccines since they were available. The patient had received it many times. The patient was not familiar with the product names Spikevax or mNEXSPIKE; she only knew that she had gotten Moderna COVID-19 boosters for years now. The patient never had a bad reaction except maybe sleepiness once. One time patient had a little bit of a reaction, but she did not have severe reactions. It was reported that she had last received Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in October or November 2025. It was reported that whatever she had gotten last time was just called Moderna. It was clarified she did not experience sleepiness with the last dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. The patient did not have a reaction from the last vaccine. The patient did not remember when she had experienced the side effect; it was reported that it was years ago. The patient's memory was not that good. It was reported that it was not that bad of a reaction. The patient did not have any heart problems; she did not have any severe reaction; the patient was just sleepy from it. It was reported that usually on the boosters, the patient had a 24-hour period of fatigue and a little bit of soreness, but it had gone away in one day. It was reported that it was only once; most of the time the patient did not have any reaction. It was reported that the patient could not say when it was but just remembered that for one of the Moderna shots, the patient was sleepy. It was reported that the reaction was so long ago, she did not think she could help much. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms/events.
