Symptom narrative

Unexpected therapeutic benefit; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of unexpected therapeutic effect in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included genital herpes (genital herpes on his lower back cleared up at the time). On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix and the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix and Shingrix, the patient experienced unexpected therapeutic effect (Verbatim: Unexpected therapeutic benefit). The outcome of the unexpected therapeutic effect was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 24-APR-2026 The patient who received 2 doses of Shingrix 8 years ago. He stated that his genital herpes on his lower back cleared up at the time. The batch number was not provided upon follow- up with the reporter.
