minor side effects of a sore arm; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PAIN IN EXTREMITY (minor side effects of a sore arm) in a 75-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273.251 (Spikevax LP.8.1 PFS) (batch no. 80777011296) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The suspect product included Pre-filled Syringe injection (batch no. 80777011296) for COVID-19 prophylaxis and Co-Suspect product included Influenza vaccine (Flu) for an unknown indication. No Medical History information was reported. On 30-Oct-2025, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273.251 (Spikevax LP.8.1 PFS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form and dose of Influenza vaccine (Flu) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient started Pre-filled Syringe (unknown route) at an unspecified dose. On 30-Oct-2025, the patient experienced PAIN IN EXTREMITY (minor side effects of a sore arm). In October 2025, PAIN IN EXTREMITY (minor side effects of a sore arm) had resolved. Concomitant medication was not reported. It was inquired about the next COVID-19 vaccination. Patient experienced only a minor side effects of a sore arm, which they did not consider a side effect at all, but rather part of getting vaccinated. The sensation dissipated within a day or so after their HCP told them to move their arm to spread the vaccine. With nearly 6 months elapsed, they were considering their next dose. Their pharmacy mentioned a new vaccine from Moderna for the upcoming strain expected between July and September. They sought guidance on whether to receive a dose now and another when the new vaccine was available. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms/events. Treatment medication was not reported.
