Maladministration of an expired dose (Expired Product Used); This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of expired vaccine used in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (expiry date 17-APR-2026) for prophylaxis. On 23-APR-2026, the patient received Shingrix. On 23-APR-2026, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced expired vaccine used (Verbatim: Maladministration of an expired dose (Expired Product Used)). The outcome of the expired vaccine used was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 23-APR-2026 The reporter asked what should do if the injection was given that expired six days ago. No patient demographics were obtained in this call. The reporter did not consent to follow-up. The batch number was not provided upon follow- up with the reporter.
