The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. No Medical History information was reported. In April 2021, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced PULMONARY EMBOLISM (blood clots/blood clots in his lungs) (seriousness criteria hospitalization and medically significant), ARTERIOSCLEROSIS (arterial sclerosis/advanced arterial sclerosis) (seriousness criterion hospitalization), BLOOD CHOLESTEROL INCREASED (very high cholesterol), SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION (sexual dysfunction), INCREASED TENDENCY TO BRUISE (he now bruises easily) and FATIGUE (more tired than usual). At the time of the report, PULMONARY EMBOLISM (blood clots/blood clots in his lungs), ARTERIOSCLEROSIS (arterial sclerosis/advanced arterial sclerosis), BLOOD CHOLESTEROL INCREASED (very high cholesterol), SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION (sexual dysfunction), INCREASED TENDENCY TO BRUISE (he now bruises easily) and FATIGUE (more tired than usual) had not resolved. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On an unknown date, Blood cholesterol: very high cholesterol and never had high cholesterol before vaccination. On an unknown date, Laboratory test: always been normal. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) was unknown. No concomitant medications were reported. The patient was a very healthy Individual and an active athlete who had no known health issues prior to vaccination. It was reported that the patient developed blood clots in his lungs after receiving the Moderna vaccine in April 2021and was put on blood thinners and IV infusions. He was diagnosed with advanced arterial sclerosis lungs after receiving the Moderna vaccine in April 2021. He was hospitalized for few days after vaccination and later was discharged and was on medications since then. It was reported that during his 50s and 60s he was very healthy, but health had been going down since vaccine in the past 5 years. He now had arterial sclerosis and very high cholesterol. It was reported that he now bruised easily, was more tired than usual and had experienced sexual dysfunction as well and it was the vaccine that caused all this. The reporter was seeking to have the patient participate in a clinical trial to contribute his health information for research purposes.
