Symptom narrative

After the second vaccine (HPV) patient had a brief convulsive syncopal episode where he got pale and limp and then began to tense up the muscles in his arms. His father was directly in front of him and had him in his arms and I grabbed his feet. His father and I then positioned him lying on the exam table with feet elevated. I gave him apple juice and an ice pack. Patient complained of a headache and stomach ache every time he tried to sit up so we kept him lying down for the better part of an hour. Gave patient some peanut butter sandwich crackers. Patient determined he felt well enough to leave after about an hour. Offered EMS at the beginning and father declined. Patient was stable .
