Shoulder numbness/Numbness; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via sales rep and described the occurrence of numbness in shoulder in a 61-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (batch number XX5FN4, expiry date 17-JUN-2027) for prophylaxis. On 31-DEC-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix (subcutaneous, left arm). On 02-JAN-2026, 2 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced numbness in shoulder (Verbatim: Shoulder numbness/Numbness). The outcome of the numbness in shoulder was not resolved. The reporter considered the numbness in shoulder to be related to Shingrix. The company considered the numbness in shoulder to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: Follow up information received on 23-APR-2026 The healthcare professional administered the vaccine into the fatty part of his left arm in the triceps area. The consumer stated that the needle was tiny and the medication was injected under the skin of the left triceps. The consumer reported 2 and half days later a sudden onset of numbness from his left elbow to the top of the shoulder and into the back and a little bit in his neck. The numbness was unresolved from the day of onset. Summary of changes: patient and analysis tabs were updated.
