Confirmed no symptoms reporter/No additional AE/No PQC reported; Medical assistant called to report administration of expired vaccine.; The vaccine experienced temperature excursion; This spontaneous report was received from a medical assistant and refers to a patient of unknown age and gender. The patient's medical history, concurrent conditions and concomitant therapies were not reported. On 15-May-2024, the vaccine Rotavirus Vaccine, Live, Oral, Pentavalent (ROTATEQ) (lot #2003173, expiration date: 23-Sep-2025) experienced a temperature excursion for 45 minutes. Later on, 06-Mar-2026, the patient was vaccinated with an expire dose of the same vaccine, Rotavirus Vaccine, Live, Oral, Pentavalent (ROTATEQ), (lot #2003173, expiration date: 23-Sep-2025) 2 mL (2 ml), (administration route was not reported). As prophylaxis. The medical assistant called to report administration of this expired vaccine and confirmed no symptoms presented. Additionally, stated that the vaccine experienced a temperature excursion. However, did not have temperature excursion details. No additional adverse events were reported.
