I received the Shingrix shot over two years ago/Suspected vaccination failure; had a shingle outbreak 3 weeks ago; This serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingrix. In APR-2026, more than 2 years after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: I received the Shingrix shot over two years ago/Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: had a shingle outbreak 3 weeks ago). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the vaccination failure and shingles to be related to Shingrix.
