Symptom narrative

nerve pain; Back pain/very annoying pain in the line between the back and butt in a certain spot above hip; cannot cook or do anything standing like that; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of nerve pain in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On 26-APR-2026, the patient received Shingrix. On an unknown date, less than a month after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced nerve pain (Verbatim: nerve pain), back pain (Verbatim: Back pain/very annoying pain in the line between the back and butt in a certain spot above hip) and activities of daily living impaired (Verbatim: cannot cook or do anything standing like that). The outcome of the nerve pain and back pain were unknown and the outcome of the activities of daily living impaired was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the nerve pain, back pain and activities of daily living impaired to be related to Shingrix and Shingrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device. It was unknown if the company considered the nerve pain, back pain and activities of daily living impaired to be related to Shingrix and Shingrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 12-MAY-2026 and 13-MAY-2026 The patient had started to experience back pain that felt like nerve pain along patient back, at the line between patient back and patient butt, in a specific spot above patient hip. There was pain in that area, and sometimes patient could not even cook or do anything while standing because of that pain. The pain was very annoying and occurred suddenly, patient had no control over it. The patient had not done any kind of physical work or anything that triggered the pain. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
