given 1 dose of Bexsero instead of the intended product which was Menveo; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via sales rep and described the occurrence of wrong vaccine administered in a 12-year-old male patient who received Men B NVS (Bexsero) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Men ACWY-CRM NVS (Menveo) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Bexsero and Menveo. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Bexsero and not applicable after receiving Menveo, the patient experienced wrong vaccine administered (Verbatim: given 1 dose of Bexsero instead of the intended product which was Menveo). Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 07-MAY-2026 A 12 year old boy was given one dose of Bexsero instead of the intended vaccine, Menveo. The nurse did not recognize the difference between MCV 4 (Menveo) and MenB (Bexsero) at the time of administration. The boy reported no adverse events following vaccination. The doctor's office regarded the incident as a medication administration error and reported it to the VAERS system. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
