Inappropriate schedule of vaccine administered; weakness; rapid heart rate; fatigue; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of heart rate increased in a 66-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingles vaccine (received first dose on unknown date around 2019 or 2020). On 09-FEB-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine (intramuscular) .5 ml. On 09-FEB-2026, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced drug dose administration interval too long (Verbatim: Inappropriate schedule of vaccine administered). In FEB-2026, the patient experienced heart rate increased (Verbatim: rapid heart rate), fatigue (Verbatim: fatigue) and weakness (Verbatim: weakness). The outcome of the heart rate increased was unknown and the outcome of the fatigue was resolved (duration 12 hrs) and the outcome of the weakness was not reported and the outcome of the drug dose administration interval too long was not applicable. It was unknown if the reporter considered the heart rate increased, fatigue and weakness to be related to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 30-APR-2026 The patient reported that he received a vaccine against shingles many years ago and was told that he needed a more effective vaccine. The patient reported that he received the 1st dose of Shingrix sometime around 2019 or 2020 and it was after Covid time. He reported that he received the second dose of Shingrix 4 years later on 09-FEB-2026 (Inappropriate schedule of vaccine administered). He was told he needed a 3rd dose. Education was provided and was referred to HCP and patient will not get a 3rd dose. When he took the 2nd dose in less than 24 hours he experienced, rapid heart rate, fatigue, and weakness. He reported that the fatigue lasted about 12 hours. No additional event was reported, and not all information was available. The batch number was not provided upon follow- up with the reporter.
