soreness in her left arm; back was very inflamed; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of pain in extremity in a 55-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (batch number 4a113) for prophylaxis. Concomitant products included Varicella zoster vaccine rgE (CHO) (Shingrix). On 19-APR-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix (intramuscular, left arm). In APR-2026, less than 2 weeks after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced inflammation localized (Verbatim: back was very inflamed). On 19-APR-2026, the patient experienced pain in extremity (Verbatim: soreness in her left arm). The outcome of the pain in extremity was not resolved and the outcome of the inflammation localized was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the pain in extremity and inflammation localized to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 30-APR-2026 The consumer reports after her Shingrix administered her left arm was sore. She reports her left arm became increasing sore the next day. By the third day the soreness in her left arm seemed to be resolving. The consumer reports the 4th day she felt like her left arm had been hit by a train. The consumer states the pain was insistent and unrelenting. She states she had an appointment / evaluation with both a chiropractor and an acupuncturist. The consumer reports the acupuncturist said her back was very inflamed, in addition to the acupuncture she also had acupressure with a massage. The consumer states neither of the three treatments helped alleviate the pain. Consumer states she wakes up every day in a lot of pain. She reports pain medication does not help.
