Vasovagal syncope approximately 1 minute after receiving vaccine. Patient became pale, diaphoretic, and disoriented while she was waiting after admin of vaccine in exam room. Mother was tending to patient during episode with nurse in room. Patient became unresponsive and loss control of bladder. Patient was assisted to floor by mother and nurse, legs were elevated and cool towel was applied. Patient became oriented soon after and was alert to name, place, and time. After 5 mins patient was placed in sitting position and provided small sips of Sprite. She was then assisted to exam table and laid flat. She was monitored for a total of 40 mins after vaccine admin with no further complications.
