Suspected vaccination failure; Shingles; This serious case was reported by a consumer via sales rep and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a adult female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix and Shingrix, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: Shingles). Even though the shingles developed after she had completed both doses of Shingrix, she was glad she had taken the vaccine. The patient case of shingles was mild, and she was curious whether having had the Shingrix vaccine made the shingles less severe. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
