Seizure

Symptom narrative

a patient "less than 4 weeks ago" who experienced a seizure after receiving GARDASIL 9.; This spontaneous report was received from a pharmacist, via Company Representative, concerning a female patient of unknown age. Her concurrent conditions, medical history or concomitant therapies were not provided. On an unknown date, the patient was vaccinated with human papillomavirus 9-valent vaccine, recombinant (GARDASIL 9), at a dose of 0.5 mL, once, administered via intramuscular as prophylaxis (schedule, lot number, expiration date or site of administration were not provided). In approximately April 2025 (reported as less than four weeks prior), the patient experienced a seizure after receiving human papillomavirus 9-valent vaccine, recombinant (GARDASIL 9). At the time of the report, the outcome of seizure was unknown. The causal association between the seizure and human papillomavirus 9-valent vaccine, recombinant (GARDASIL 9) was not provided. Upon internal review, seizure was considered as medically significant.
