Gout; deep join pain in his right foot; f SHINGRIX early January 2026 and his second dose on the last day of February; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of gout in a 67-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included blood cholesterol increased (High cholesterol). On 28-FEB-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix. In JAN-2026, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On 28-FEB-2026, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix and not applicable after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced drug dose administration interval too short (Verbatim: f SHINGRIX early January 2026 and his second dose on the last day of February). On 08-APR-2026, the patient experienced gout (Verbatim: Gout) and foot joint pain (Verbatim: deep join pain in his right foot). The patient was treated with simvastatin and meloxicam. The outcome of the gout and foot joint pain were resolving and the outcome of the drug dose administration interval too short was not applicable. He stated that he had developed deep joint pain in his right foot which his doctor thought was gout. He had been taking meloxicam 15 mg daily for the past 4 days and the pain had gotten slightly better. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
