Could be coincidence, but just thought it was weird. 2 days after vaccines, I got a very large DVT and micro blood clots in my lungs; they found out that I have May Thurners Syndrome too, which pre-disposed me to clots AND I was on oral contraceptives. So there are other reasons that this could have happened, but I was on oral contraceptives for almost 10 years. And then I was on a heparin drip and on 9/12 had a thrombectomy(?) with a stent placed. No more oral contraceptives; I was on Xaralto for 6 months and now baby aspirin and follow-up yearly.

Here is what the CT found: 1. Enlargement of the left external iliac vein with mild surrounding inflammatory fat stranding and afilling defect extending from the left external iliac vein to the left common iliac vein is consistent withdeep venous thrombosis. 2. Compression of the left common iliac vein by the overlying right common iliac artery, suggesting May-Thurner syndrome.
