Patient returned to Occ Health after she began to feel dizzy while she was driving back to work. She had waited the full 15 min after her YF injection and felt fine until approx 30 min after injection. She states she felt like she was going to "pass out" while driving. She reported having some difficulty taking deep breaths but that similar episodes have occurred in the past. She did not have her inhaler with her. Her respirations were 14-16 bpm. Her heart sounds were steady and normal. No wheezing or crackles upon auscultation. Diminished breath sounds in lower lobes. When I mentioned findings to pt, she stated she had previously been told she had diminished lung sounds by her pulmonologist. I suggested she call her husband to see if he could bring her inhaler and take her to UC. While waiting for him to arrive, she began feeling nauseous and walked to the restroom and started to dry heave. Her husband arrived with her inhaler and she took a few puffs. I advised her to go to UC for evaluation and to potentially receive epi under the supervision of a provider due to concerns regarding her heart condition. She walked to her vehicle with her husband and he stated he would take her directly to UC. Vitals stable prior to leaving building.
