Patient received TDap at age 5 years and 5 months post laceration. Patient should have received 5th dose of Dtap until age 7. Per Immunize.org patient covered by TDap vaccine since she has already had at least 3 doses of Dtap. Mother notified next morning by phone of vaccine received, vaccine typically given for patient age and confirmed efficacy of vaccine given for patient individual qualifiers. Patient experiencing no signs of issues and complaining of no side effects; free of site reactions, fevers or common vaccine side effects as well.
