The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. The suspect product included Pre-filled Syringe injection for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included Lymphedema (lymph node biopsies due to hot lymph nodes. This led to lymphedema, which was managed with lymphatic drainage therapy.) and Surgery (For stage 3 aggressive melanoma, involved 40 staples from the top of her head down to her left ear) on 02-Feb-2021. Previously administered products included for Product used for unknown indication: Flu shot (2 months before the last COVID-19 vaccine) in October 2025. Past adverse reactions to the above products included No adverse effect with Flu shot. Concurrent medical conditions included Malignant melanoma stage III (stage 3 aggressive). On 19-Dec-2025, the patient received tenth dose of mRNA-1273.251 (Spikevax LP.8.1 PFS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient started Pre-filled Syringe (unknown route) at an unspecified dose. On an unknown date, the patient experienced LYMPHOEDEMA (resurgence of lymphedema on the left side), FEELING ABNORMAL (feeling off/unusual sensation), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (sore arm), PAIN (severe pain), HEADACHE (severe headaches/excruciating headaches), FATIGUE (fatigue) and PYREXIA (mild fever). DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On an unknown date, Computerised tomogram neck: showed no signs of cancer recurrence. On an unknown date, Computerised tomogram thorax: showed no signs of cancer recurrence. On an unknown date, Positron emission tomogram: showed no signs of cancer recurrence. Concomitant medication was not reported. It was reported that following the last Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, patient experienced a resurgence of lymphedema on the left side, raising concerns about cancer recurrence. She underwent cranial therapy, which provided relief from the headaches. She typically experiences common symptoms after receiving vaccines, such as a sore arm, fatigue, and mild fever. However, severe headaches and lymphedema were unusual for her, which was why they were particularly concerned. She did not think she would be getting any more COVID-19 vaccines, as she experienced severe pain and excruciating headaches. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms/events. This case was linked to MOD-2026-795905, MOD-2026-795909, MOD-2026-795907, MOD-2026-795910 (Patient Link).
