sore arm; fatigue; mild fever; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PAIN IN EXTREMITY (sore arm), FATIGUE (fatigue) and PYREXIA (mild fever) in an elderly female patient who received mRNA-1273.712 (SPIKEVAX 2024-2025 PFS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The suspect product included Pre-filled Syringe injection for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included Melanoma (stage 3 aggressive melanoma which involved 40 staples from the top of the patient head down to the patient left ear), Lymphedema (which was managed with lymphatic drainage therapy), Surgery on 02-Feb-2021 and Lymph node biopsy (lymph node biopsies due to hot lymph nodes.) on 02-Feb-2021. Previously administered products included for Product used for unknown indication: Pfizer 2023-2024 (Pfizer 2023-2024, Lot/Batch Number: HG4629) in 2023 and Pfizer covid vaccine (Lot/Batch Number: 17554) on 26-Sep-2023. Past adverse reactions to the above products included No adverse effect with Pfizer 2023-2024 and Pfizer covid vaccine. On 24-Sep-2024, the patient received ninth dose of mRNA-1273.712 (SPIKEVAX 2024-2025 PFS) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient started Pre-filled Syringe (unknown route) at an unspecified dose. On an unknown date, the patient experienced PAIN IN EXTREMITY (sore arm), FATIGUE (fatigue) and PYREXIA (mild fever). At the time of the report, PAIN IN EXTREMITY (sore arm), FATIGUE (fatigue) and PYREXIA (mild fever) outcome was unknown. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On an unknown date, Computerised tomogram neck: no signs of cancer recurrence. On an unknown date, Computerised tomogram thorax: no signs of cancer recurrence. On an unknown date, Positron emission tomogram: no signs of cancer recurrence. No concomitant medications provided by the reporter. Patient had Moderna covid vaccines on 11-FEB-2021,11-MAR-2021,04-SEP 2021,02-JUL-2022 ,17-OCT-2022 and 14-APR-2024. It was reported that post vaccination the patient used to experience symptom of such as a sore arm, fatigue, and mild fever. The patient had the same reaction with the older Moderna covid vaccines. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms/events. No treatment medications provided by the reporter. This case was linked to MOD-2026-795902 (Patient Link).
