Symptom narrative

Patient got vaccine on 5/5/2026 and on 5/6/2026 she started to develop the reaction. She took a benadryl. She came into clinic to get her TB skin test read on 5/7/2026, where the reaction was seen by myself. Site was red, warm to touch and patient complained of joint pain in the same arm. I asked the patient if she noticed if the site was itchy since the vaccine does include the chickenpox and is a very common reaction. She stated it has not been itchy. Advised for patient to take benadryl and ibuprofen to help with reaction. Offered an appointment for tomorrow with a physician if she would like, however, patient wanted to see how reaction was on Monday, and if it was still bothering her, she would contact us
