Eleven days post-vaccine administration, my son started experiencing pain is his scrotum and testicular region in the evening hours. Once he informed me of the pain and due to the sudden onset of pain in this area, we immediately took him to Urgent Care for treatment. The staff suspected possible testicular torsion and ordered all tests (blood, urinalysis, ultrasound) to rule this out. I also advised the doctor that he had a recent vaccine so that they were aware. Once the torsion was ruled out, it was advised that he should rest and take it easy the next few days. The following morning, my son woke up and had visible swelling and redness on his left side of the scrotum. He was complaining of increased pain as well. I immediately contacted the pediatrician and was able to get a same-day appointment on 5/13/26. At this appointment he underwent another physical exam and the doctor requested repeat ultrasound to once again, rule out torsion. It was during his exam when I informed Dr. that my 12 year old son also had experienced significant jaw pain the week prior (possible parotitis?). Dr. mentioned that he had brief information on the possibility of vaccine related orchitis but that he wasn't sure that was the case and that he would "look into it". My son's pain has decreased since this first started however, he still has increased sensitivity and discomfort.
Low-grade fever, vomited 04/28/26 (24hr GI symptoms)
