On 06-MAY-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix (intramuscular) .5 ml. On 06-MAY-2026, less than a week after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced feeling unwell (Verbatim: did not feel well). In MAY-2026, the patient experienced neck pain (Verbatim: Persistent Neck Pain/pain is not tolerable when pressing two fingers into the base of neck), joint range of motion decreased (Verbatim: States he has a restricted range of motion. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 11-MAY-2026 The patient self-reported this case for himself. The consumer reported that initially his arm was sore and he did not feel well, and he stayed in bed for a few days. Around the third day, he experienced pain on the right side of his neck. He stated that he changed his pillow, thinking it would resolve the issue; however, the following day, the pain persisted and moved to the base of his neck on the left side. He described the pain as a burning sensation, similar to being slapped, along with a restricted range of motion. He stated that he was uncomfortable when moving his neck from left to right and described the pain as dull yet significant. He noted that pressing two fingers into the base of his neck caused intolerable pain. He further described the sensation as a strange feeling, like someone pushing the back of his neck. He reported that the pain lasted throughout the day and that, while walking, he had to move stiffly "like a robot" to avoid moving his arms or head. The consumer stated that he applied ice to the affected area for about 20 minutes each day without relief. He also applied heat, which did not help. He reported that after his first dose of Shingrix, he only experienced a sore arm. He mentioned that a friend had told him that the friend's mother stayed in bed for 3 to 4 days after receiving a dose of Shingrix. The consumer also expressed concern that he was unable to locate the lot number for the injection when asked for that information. The batch number was not provided upon follow- up with the reporter.
