Ill; My chest was red raw; had a fever; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of illness in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, immediately after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced illness (Verbatim: Ill), redness (Verbatim: My chest was red raw) and fever (Verbatim: had a fever). The outcome of the illness, redness and fever were not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the illness, redness and fever to be related to Shingles vaccine. It was unknown if the company considered the illness, redness and fever to be related to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 13-MAY-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. The patient had shingles shot recently and immediately became ill. The patient chest was red raw and also had fever so patient mentioned would never have the shot again. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
