had a positive home Covid test/it was the Omicron variant/ an itchy, scratchy throat/had a little bit of an itchy throat/ feel really sick/ slight fatigue; flu like symptoms; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (flu like symptoms) and COVID-19 (had a positive home Covid test/it was the Omicron variant/ an itchy, scratchy throat/had a little bit of an itchy throat/ feel really sick/ slight fatigue) in a 50-year-old male patient who received SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Concomitant products included Sildenafil citrate (Viagra) for an unknown indication. On an unknown date, the patient received dose of SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (flu like symptoms) and COVID-19 (had a positive home Covid test/it was the Omicron variant/ an itchy, scratchy throat/had a little bit of an itchy throat/ feel really sick/ slight fatigue). At the time of the report, INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (flu like symptoms) had resolved and COVID-19 (had a positive home Covid test/it was the Omicron variant/ an itchy, scratchy throat/had a little bit of an itchy throat/ feel really sick/ slight fatigue) outcome was unknown. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On an unknown date, SARS-CoV-2 test: (Positive) positive for Omicron. The action taken with SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Intramuscular use) was unknown. At the time of the report, the patient's age was reported as 54 years old. Patient had no vaccines within the past 4 weeks, medical conditions. Patient was very healthy. Patient received first Moderna Covid vaccine in 2021. Since then, had received approximately 6 Covid vaccines. The first and second were Moderna, did not start taking Pfizer until 2024. Patient was not on any medications except for occasionally, patient took a Viagra, but patient was in good physical shape. Patient was in really great physical shape for 54. Patient went to the gym all the time. he went running. Patient usually got one every year. first one was Moderna when it first came out. He got the second injection and then everyone after that except for one during the primary delta period, He did not start getting Pfizer until probably 2024, because Moderna was not available anymore in area. Patient did not remember the year but stated it was the Omicron variant and approximates patient being 50 years old at the time. It was stated had slight fatigue and an itchy, scratchy throat. Patient did not contact a physician for this as he had no fevers nor headache. It was stated their treating physician from this time period had passed away. Patient got vaccinated and he was like, patient got one positive test and he had no symptoms. "When he took it, he got very knocked out. he basically had the flu for a day and a half, 2 days. Patient was like very uncomfortable. did not bother patient. Patient basically just laid around the house. Just made felt really sick. Patient had very faint line on his test, and he felt fine. No treatment medication was reported.
